CASE-Tokyo District Court dismissed a claim of damages, an action in torts made by parties who outsourced programming and program administration to users of shared server hosting services against the hosting service business company regarding the damage they suffered. The alleged damage the parties claimed as action in tort was deletion of programs and data due to malfunction of the server run by the hosting service business company>
